What We Fix On E-Bikes

Everything a shop does, in your driveway. Repairs start at $85, a basic tune-up is $150, and a full tune-up with new brake pads is $200.

Battery & Charging Issues

Capacity testing, charge port and connector faults, and a straight answer on whether a pack needs service or replacement.

Motor & Error Codes

Hub and mid-drive diagnostics, display error codes, cadence and torque sensor faults, and controller troubleshooting.

Brakes Built For The Weight

Pad replacement, rotor truing, and hydraulic bleeds. E-bikes eat pads fast, and worn pads on a 60 pound bike are not a wait-and-see item.

Drivetrain & Chain Wear

Chain stretch measurement, cassette and chainring replacement, and shifting that stops skipping under motor load.

Wheels, Tires & Spokes

Flat repair, tire replacement, spoke tensioning, and wheel truing on torque-loaded rear wheels.

Tune-Ups & New Bike Assembly

Full safety service on your schedule, or box-to-rideable assembly for a direct-to-consumer e-bike, torqued to spec.

Why E-Bikes Need A Specialist

An e-bike is a bicycle carrying an extra 20 pounds, a motor pushing torque through the drivetrain, and a rider moving faster than they would otherwise. Every wear part feels that.

Chains stretch in months rather than seasons. Brake pads wear at double the rate. Rear spokes loosen under acceleration. And the electrical side, batteries, controllers, sensors, and displays, needs someone who has actually diagnosed them before instead of guessing at a parts swap.

We service e-bikes daily, carry the diagnostic gear on board, and tell you plainly what needs doing now and what can wait.

Common Questions

Can a mobile mechanic really fix an e-bike?

Yes. The van is the shop: repair stand, torque tools, truing stand, bleed kits, common wear parts, and e-bike diagnostic gear. Most service is finished on-site in 45 to 90 minutes.

How much does e-bike repair cost?

Individual repairs are $85, a basic tune-up is $150, a full tune-up with new brake pads is $200, and new bike assembly is $175. Parts are quoted and approved before any work starts.

How often should I service my e-bike?

A basic tune-up every four to six months and a full tune-up once a year suits most riders. Daily commuters, dirt riders, and trailer haulers are closer to every three months.

Where do you service e-bikes?

Anywhere you can park a bike: driveway, garage, apartment lot, office, or trailhead. Our current licensed territory is North County San Diego. Enter your ZIP when booking and we'll match you to the nearest operator.
