How It Started
In 2019, during the height of COVID-19, a high school student named Alex couldn't land a job. Instead of waiting around, he started Mobile Bike Repair out of North County San Diego — showing up to people's homes with tools, skills, and a commitment to fair pricing.
What started as a one-person operation in Carlsbad grew into North County San Diego's #1 rated mobile bike repair service. No storefront. No inflated shop rates. Just a mechanic who comes to you and gets the job done right.
Alex grew up on bikes — his dad introduced him to riding at a young age, and that love stuck with him. That same passion now drives every repair, every safety check, and every customer interaction Mobile Bike Repair delivers.

Alex founded Mobile Bike Repair in 2019 as a high schooler in Carlsbad, California. What started as a way to earn income during COVID became a full business built on values instilled in him from a young age — work hard, be fair, and always show up ready.
Today, Alex is growing Mobile Bike Repair into a national network of licensed operators who share that same commitment to quality, safety, and honest service. His goal is straightforward: make sure that no matter where you live, you have access to a skilled, trustworthy mobile bike mechanic.
