What a Mobile Bike Repair Visit Actually Looks Like

Most people have never had a bike fixed anywhere but a shop, so the first question we get is usually some version of: “Wait, you do the whole thing here?” Yes. The van is the shop. Here's what a typical visit looks like, start to finish, so there are no surprises.

Booking. You pick a service (Individual Repair $85, Basic Tune-Up $150, Full Tune-Up $200, or Bike Assembly $175) and choose a time window that works for you. You don't need to describe the problem perfectly. “It makes a clicking noise” is enough to get us there with the right parts on board.

Arrival. Our mechanic pulls up in a fully equipped mobile workshop: repair stand, torque tools, truing stand, bleed kits, common wear parts, and e-bike diagnostic gear. All we need is your bike and a flat spot, a driveway, a garage, a parking space at your office, or a trailhead lot.

The walkthrough. Before anything gets touched, we run the bike front to back and tell you what we find. If your brake pads are at 1mm, you'll see them. If the chain is stretched and about to start chewing up your cassette, we'll show you the measurement. You approve the work before it happens, and you'll know the price before we start.

The work. Most tune-ups take 45–90 minutes on-site. Brake service, drivetrain cleaning and adjustment, gear indexing, wheel truing, bearing checks, tire and tube work, and e-bike diagnostics all happen right there. You don't have to stand and watch. Plenty of customers head back inside and come out to a finished bike.

The handoff. We do a short test ride, walk you through what changed, and give you a plain-English rundown of what to keep an eye on before the next service. Payment happens on the spot, and you keep your whole Saturday.
